Bird bath

Looking down on the back garden from a window at the back of the house, either the lounge or Bella’s room. I see that the lawn and garden are partly flooded. I go down into the garden, to the back garden by the remains of the laburnum tree that almost killed me once when it fell down with no warning, missing me by inches. Here I can see through into Colleen’s garden. This is where the water is coming from, from an overflowing bird bath. Of course, there’s far more water than you would think could possibly originate from this source – as if a bird bath had taps and they’d been left on. (31/07/09)
